Advocacy in the Workplace for Returning Citizens (A partnership with BRIDGES)

Have you been discriminated against during the hiring process due to past justice involvement? This workshop will educate individuals on their employment rights and help to develop the confidence to advocate for themselves throughout the process of applying, interviewing, and maintaining employment. Topics include legal interview questions and applications, background checks, preparing a conviction speech, certificates of relief, licensing barriers, and financial incentives for employers.(2 hours)
