Job Description:This is a job with both regular ongoing bookkeeping tasks. In addition, the candidate will manage departmental projects. Special projects will include implementation of new ledger or payroll software as well as other more short-term activities. General Responsibilities: Set up and maintain Excel spreadsheets to track projects/schedules/tasks and communicate status. Manage the revenue expenses as a representative payee for agency clients. Manage the implementation of technology initiatives in the department Other accounting tasks needed by the department including journal entries and reconciliations. Set up and maintain accounting excel spreadsheets and reconcile to general ledger. Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence and other material. Any other related duties as required Perform all necessary activities assigned to further the agency’s mission
Qualification:Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Skills:Attention to detail Excellent organizational skills Experience with the implementation of new technology features Ability to multitask efficiently with attention to detail; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting Strong interpersonal skills and capacity to build relationships and interact appropriately with staff, Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
