The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in managing the fast-paced operations and staff of a Wendy’s restaurant.

Job Description: | The Assistant Manager will: Maintain fast, accurate service and positive guest relations, Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures, Work collaboratively with the management team to meet budgeted sales goals, Manage food, labor, paper costs, and other controllable expenses, Execute company policies and procedures for the control of cash, property, product, and equipment, Monitor inventory levels through ordering to ensure product availability, Manage and maintain safe working conditions, Manage crew employees in a manner that maximizes crew retention, Assist the General Manager in developing Crew Members and Shift Supervisors, to prepare them for growth within the company, Interview and recommend team members for selection in hiring, Provide proper training of team members, ensuring compliance with company standards, Anticipate and identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective action, Uphold the company’s social responsibility values and ethical practices. |
Requirements: | High School diploma or GED (some college a plus). - One or more years' restaurant experience. - Open / flexible work availability. - Demonstrated ability to lead and manage your own team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Excellent problem solving and decision making skills |
* | All employees in a management or supervisory position within Wendy's Restaurants must possess a Serve-Safe Certification within 6 months of their hire date. May also need to obtain state-specific certifications. We will help you obtain these certifications. |
