Job Description: | "Job Description Abbott House is seeking a competent Foster Care Parent Trainer to join the Foster Care team. In this role you will provide the required and necessary training to foster care parents to ensure the successful placement of foster care children. About Abbott House Abbott House is an innovative community-based organization that helps children, families, adults, and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities with complex needs build lasting foundations for a promising future. We operate programs in the New York Metropolitan area and Hudson Valley. Qualification: | "About You You are the ideal candidate if you have a passion to help your community and empower underserved populations. Being compassionate, resourceful, organized, flexible and responsive are critical attributes to be successful in this role. You have at least a Bachelor’s in Social Work. Master's degree is preferred You have at least 2 years of experience working with child welfare You are familiar with NYS DSS/ACS regulations You are MAPP Certified You must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19" |
