| Job Description: | "Canine Attendant - Part-time or Full-time. Job duties include cleaning kennels, feeding, watering, exercising, walking, observing, reporting on dogs under our care. We are an animal shelter providing temporary housing and care for lost, stray, surrendered, abandoned and abused animals until they are either placed with adopters, returned to owners, or transferred. The dogs under our care can sometimes be aggressive. Canine Attendants work as part of a team with clearly defined daily responsibilities. " |
| Qualification: | The ability to manage sometimes large and sometimes aggressive dogs. To keep records related to the work performed. Applicant should have their own transportation or be able to arrange reliable transportation (the shelter is not on any public transportation lines). |
| Skills: | Organization. Awareness of Safety Issues. The job can be physically demanding at times. |
