| Job Description: | As a vital member of the Communications Department, the Digital Communications and Marketing Director is responsible for managing and enhancing the digital channels and platforms (social media, websites, e-communications) for the Eastern Territory. This position combines strategic and tactical expertise in developing and leading a digital marketing and communications initiatives with superb leadership. This individual will possess strategic thinking, problem solving and strong digital online community story telling capabilities. This position is based at our Eastern Territorial Headquarters in West Nyack, NY. |
| Qualifications: | • Bachelor's degree • 3-5 years related experience |
| Skills: | • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Must be organized and have ability to manage projects • Demonstrated problem solving skills and flexibility to handle production when scenes don’t go as planned • Ability to keep up with the ever-changing advances in technology and knowing when to shift to new technology • Demonstrated fiscal management ability including compliance with annual budget • Capable of operating state of the art equipment in office, studio, and the field • Must have a valid driver’s license • Ability to travel days, evenings and weekends as needed • Demonstrated ability to supervise and manage employee(s) and volunteers • Must be able to interact with leadership, staff and volunteers as well as with the general public All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status. |
