| Job Description: | "Role: The primary role of a driving instructor is to offer suggestions and positive reinforcement to encourage inexperienced drivers to adopt safe and lawful driving habits. Duties include: Conducting behind-the-wheel driving lessons for inexperienced drivers Taking note of skills taught in each lesson Receiving payments and issuing receipts" |
| Qualification: | "Qualifications: 1) Must be at least 21 years of age 2) Must have a driver license that a) has been valid for at least 2 years b) has not been suspended or revoked in the last 2 years c) shows an acceptable driving record 3) Must have a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma (GED) 4) Must never have been convicted of a felony or of any crime 5) Must pass the required driving instructor tests, which include: a) vision test b) road-sign test c) written test d) driving test " |
| Skills: | The ideal candidate has the ability to patiently give feedback to a student until skills are acquired. |
| Certification: | "Department of Motor Vehicles requires that driving instructors pass the above listed tests: a) vision test b) road sign test c) written test d) driving test" |
