Solutions 4 Community Health, a fully owned subsidiary of Sun River Health is seeking an EMR Clinical Trainer.
|Job Description:||The role of the EMR Clinical Trainer is to develop and conduct training programs for new and existing clients, as well as regular monitoring and maintenance of eClinicalWorks electronic Medical Records (EMR) application, and support users in every step of the utilization of this application to all departments. Individual and group trainings are the standard. This position is responsible for training on both non-clinical and clinical content and is expected to be proficient with all aspects of the EMR. The candidate should be able to assess others’ proficiency, and provide individualized support, and detailed observations that will be documented in the employees training record. Position reports to the Regional Director of EMR Systems, and requires successful completion of certification as an eClinicalWorks Trainer.|
|Minimum Requirements:||Associates degree, Bachelors preferred. 2-5 years’ Experience in a health-related field. 2+ Years’ experience training on an electronic medical record system, preferably eClinicalWorks. Ability to travel 25-50% is required. Ability to work at various locations when necessary along with working various shifts. Ability to work independently as well as work as part of a fast-moving team. Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Excellent communication, decision making, leadership and problem-solving skills public speaking and technical presentation skills.|
|Preferred Experience:||Classroom management, experience in adult education, and Curriculum Development. Expertise in healthcare business processes and associated clinical application software. Ability to effectively motivate clinical and non-clinical staff at all level during training sessions. Understanding of clinical workflows and how software can aid in patient care. Knowledge of FQHC. Ability to provide excellent customer service.|
|Specific Job Responsibilities include:||Provide end-user support and follow ups in multiple ways; this may include, but are not limited to: Group training for new and existing employees Individual structured trainings as needed. Perform virtual training sessions Create video recordings for specific training topics Follow ups for Providers on a 2 and 6-weeks basis. Workflow analysis and optimization Create and customize all user accounts, as well as deactivate them as needed. Monitor the Ticketing System throughout the day (when not in training) and respond to all issues in a timely manner. Answer Helpline and maintain a log of issues. with escalation to management, as needed, following an established workflow. Monitor the Electronic Script Messenger application for electronic prescribing issues and respond to all issues. Develop and maintain EMR training manuals and Job aides. Provide onsite go live support and follow up during New system implementation. Ensure the integrity of EMR data and maintain confidentiality of all related information. Completes required continuous training and education, including department specific requirements. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of eClinicalWorks certification and yearly recertification. Participate in special projects, as needed, and perform other duties as assigned.|
