Job Description : | "Job Summary The Tuxedo Club Houseman is an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual that has good communication skills & attention to detail. This position works in conjunction with the Housekeeping, Locker Room Attendants, & with the Rooms & Laundry team. It is important that this individual sees themselves as a ""people person"" & is prepared to facilitate communication between departments, Front of House & Back of House. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of care & hospitality. Duties & Responsibilities Deliveries, inventory, & storage Ensure ancillary storage facilities are functional Inventory, maintenance, & cleanliness of tables, chairs, glassware, silver, flatware, banquet equipment Par stock levels Audio & Visual equipment Off-site parties Set up & breakdown of club areas based on floor plans Transport personnel & material between the two clubhouses Fueling of Club vehicle fleet Report any issues with the Club vehicle fleet Set up & breakdown of all on-course needs Event Set up, requirements, & breakdown Tend to fireplaces Stock Clean Refresh Assist laundry with cleaning, pressing/ironing, folding all linen, uniforms & towels Assist housekeeping staff with the following: Cleaning clubhouse offices (collects trash, vacuums, & dust) Cleaning clubhouse dormitory areas Bathrooms Staff break room Lounge areas Perform all other related duties assigned by the Front of House management team This job description in no way states or implies that this position is limited to the aforementioned duties. It is expected that, at times, you may have to work on evenings, weekends, &/or holidays. Qualification: | "High School diploma or GED required Basic knowledge of cleaning Knowledge of a second language is a plus Positive attitude & excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to work varied shifts which include weekdays, evenings, weekends & holidays Energetic & professional team player" |
