Job Description: | As a Foster Parent Recruiter, you will be responsible for developing new homes for regular Family Foster Care and Treatment Family Foster Care in the NYC and Westchester area. Duties & Responsibilities: -Develop a comprehensive recruitment plan with the assistance of the Director -Build and develop partnerships with local schools, businesses, hospitals, faith based organizations and partner with other organizations to recruit foster parents -Develop a pool of foster parent to host recruitment events in their communities. -Responsible for making outreach to ACS inquiry referrals, online referrals, etc. -Responsible for processing and entering all inquiries in Connections -Tracks and monitors all inquiries and applicants -Responsible for conducting Orientation and co-leading MAPP training. -Assist with processing the required paperwork for home certification process -Responsible for and to attend conferences in reference to recruitment for prospective families -Coordinate and work with other departments to create a culture around recruitment, retention and support for foster parents. -Weekend and evening hours are required. Travel between Westchester and Bronx site will be required. -Other related duties as assigned. Position located in Irvington, NY. Qualifications: | Minimum Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of education-related experience in an instructional, administrative, or advocacy-related position required. Experience working with students and families in foster care. |
