Job Description: | Medicaid Billing, Reporting. Recoupments and Rate Analysis. Position is located in Irvington, NY. Qualifications: o Three years general accounting experience preferably in Not-For-Profit sector o Analytical ability, including general ledger analysis o Knowledge of OPWDD rates and recoupments preferred o Must have knowledge of accounting software and systems, preferably MAS100 (Sage), Fund EZ, Precision Care, Accumedic, MillinPro Duties and Responsibilities: o Prepare and submit insurance billing (including Medicaid, HMO and third party) o Ensure accuracy between sub ledger and general ledger o Weekly follow up on all unpaid claims. Generate weekly denial reports to be sent to program and senior staff. o Generate and maintain recoupment schedules and ensure they are properly analyzed and coded to general ledger o Analyze all funding source rate sheets and disseminate information to program and senior staff o Responsible for Food Stamp, Personal Allowance Analysis and Consumer Rent Collection o Review accounts in general ledger to ensure they meet monthly, quarterly and audit reporting needs o Create invoice and journal entries in MAS100 – Accounting System o Support annual audits o Attend meetings as required by funding sources o Other duties as assigned by supervisor To Apply - Submit resume with cover letter indicating position of interest to: finance-resumes@abbotthouse.net" |
