| Job Description: | Lifeguards are part of the Aquatics team. Guards are responsible for assisting in managing operations for the entire Aquatics Program – pool complex, swim program, equipment and safety; and aquatics staff. |
| Qualifications: | "* Must be able to teach all levels of classes for campers between 5 and 12 years old daily, class size ranging between 5-22 campers when needed. * Assist with pre-camp pool set up, and post camp break down including but not limited to moving ropes, setting up benches, signs, pool toys, and inventorying. * Lesson plans, class check ins, evaluations, morning jobs, filling in for absences, etc. * Exemplify good behavior on pool deck and remain professional when working with peers, supervisors and agencies. * Communicate issues with aquatics director, be proactive about potential issues. * Assist in maintaining the physical facilities and equipment at the pool complex including checking equipment daily for safety, cleanliness and good repair. " |
| Skills: | "Education and Experience * Current Lifeguard experience a plus * Current CPR and swim certifications preferred, but will certify and train * Experience working with children preferred" |
