| Job description: | Drug World continually seeks talented Pharmacy Technicians to work in our pharmacy. We currently have openings for a full-time and part-time experienced Pharmacy Technician. Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is required. Applicants must be 18 years of age or over to become a Pharmacy Technician. Pharmacy Technicians maintain consistency and efficiency within the pharmacy department by assisting pharmacists and serving the needs of customers. Pharmacy Technicians will be under the direct supervision of Supervising Pharmacist & Staff Pharmacists. Pharmacy Technician’s duties include, but are not limited to: Daily operations as a pharmacy technician: • Customer service • Covid-19 Vaccinations (If licensed) • Prescription data entry • Prescription filling • Rx filing • Doctor calls • Prepare daily orders and returns • Insurance Calls • Maintain and spread the high level of Drug World customer service. • Compliance with all applicable Federal & State regulations. • Work along with cashiers (and as a cashier if needed) to locate prescriptions and answer questions to provide customers with their prescriptions in a timely manner. • Maintain daily invoice logs and inventory reports. • Assist in the training and development of all new hires. • Maintain daily operations of the automation (where applicable) and drug inventory. • Work with the office to keep pharmacy system and the automation system working properly. • Help trouble-shoot problems within the pharmacy and direct questions through proper channels. • Daily maintenance of pharmacy department to keep it organized and presentable Drug World Pharmacies offers: Competitive Salary • Major Medical Insurance Coverage • Voluntary Vision Coverage • 401k Plan with Employer Match • Employee Discount • Professional Work Environment • Sick/Personal Days • Vacation Days • Voluntary Dental Coverage • Voluntary Life Insurance Pharmacy Technician experience is preferred, but not required.
