Job Description:The Senior Vice President is a high-level administrative position responsible for the overall management of the Developmental Disabilities program in Rockland (Campus), Goshen, Bronx, and Day Habilitation Programs. The Senior Vice President of DD (Developmental Disabilities) will provide management of Accountability Program. This position will report directly to the President/CEO.
Responsibilities:• Administrative head of all developmental disability program operations related to Bronx IRA Programs, Goshen IRA Program and Rockland IRA Program • Over-all administrative lead the Day Habilitation Program, Accountability and Nursing Programs. • Actively involved in the Developmental Disabilities (DD) Managed Care Preparedness • Supervise the Vice President of Developmental Disabilities and directly supervise his/her staff during absences. • Overall coordination, organization and development of the Rockland IRA Community and Bronx Programs, responsible for the supervision of the personnel, institutes and promotes program orientation program • Interview applicants for positions and make appropriate recommendations. • Review and/or evaluate staff. • Respond to all internal and external audits • Ensure that all official records are properly maintained, ensure that all directives and information are disseminated to staff, provide for continuous department coverage; provide for completion of routine reports and records in a timely fashion • Ensure courteous and open reception of visitors; provide for reception of ideas and suggestions from staff • Works with Administration on budget related issues • Ensure appropriate program is developed for each client • Ensure effective communication, documentation and supervision related to clients’ service delivery, progress and needs • Provide supportive leadership and supervision of the staff • Responsible for Contract Compliance regarding the delivery of services contracted by the New York State Office for Persons with Developmental Disabilities • Keep informed of current trends in Developmental Disabilities • Ensure that the Person-Centered Planning approach is adhered to • Must be trained in POM’s (Personal Outcome measures) and monitor implementation. • Institute and promote orientation programs and in-service training programs for staff • Assure staff training and evaluation compliance • Assure adequate staffing in all residences • Attend all pertinent external/internal meetings • Ensure preparedness for successful internal/external audits • Participate in company events • Periodically visit residential homes and greet staff and individuals. • Ensure that Supervisory meetings take place throughout the DD program. • Be available for on-call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week
Qualifications:• Master’s degree required • LMSW or LCSW preferred • Minimum of eight (8) years’ nonprofit management experience. • Minimum of five (5) years of senior level supervisory experience is required, preferably in a residential setting working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges. Demonstrated Administrative Management experience/skills required. • Knowledgeable in managed care • Experience with system management and accountability • A valid, non-restricted, driver license a required

Salary Wage:$165,000
