| Job Description: | Our Hudson Valley SNAP-Ed team is looking for a Nutrition Educator who is passionate about nutrition and healthy food. The SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educator provides education, program development, coordination and evaluation to improve healthy food and lifestyle choices among low-income families and individuals in Rockland and Westchester counties. This person will work closely with the Hudson Valley SNAP-Ed team based at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orange (CCE Orange). This person also collaborates with team members in development and implementation of policy, systems and environmental change initiatives. This person is supervised by CCE Rockland and receives programmatic oversight and coordination by the SNAP-Ed Project Manager in CCE Orange. A bachelor’s degree in nutrition, health education, public health or a related field is required as well as one year of relevant work experience. The applicant must also be fluent in Spanish and/or Haitian Creole. The closing date is February 28, 2023. Please note that only online applications are accepted. |
