What is Youth Connections?
Youth Connections is a comprehensive employment program for eligible young adults, ages 18 to 24, facing barriers to education, training, and meaningful work. The program focuses primarily on out-of-school youth who are looking to gain educational and employment opportunities. It is funded in partnership with the Rockland County Career Center through a federal grant. Youth Connections supports learners through a variety of services:
- PAID work readiness training and internships
- FREE Vocational Training
- FREE TASC (High School Equivalency) preparation classes
- Support programs such as tutoring resume development, mentoring, and leadership development
- Guidance and counseling
Young adults must meet eligibility requirements to enroll in Youth Connections. To find out if you’re eligible, please contact us or attend an orientation.
